Quick and smooth packaging with new gąsior®LAMINFILM BFP BEF
Tuesday, 09 June 2009 14:21

The present needs of production and trade require quick and efficient packaging of millions of pieces of various types of products using high-speed flow-pack packaging machines. Use of the correct type of film is an indispensable element of the packaging process using these machines. Using their long-standing experience SUPRAVIS GROUP S.A. developed two new types of laminate from the gąsior®LAMINFILM family intended for use in high-speed flow-pack packaging machines: BFP and BEF.

  • BFP – average barrier properties,
  • BEF – great barrier properties thanks to the EVOH layer (featuring great barrier properties against oxygen to guarantee significantly longer expiry dates of the packed products).

gąsior®LAMINFILM BFP and BEF guarantee great leading in flow-pack packaging machines with strong and durable seals at the same time (so called hot tack). BFP and BEF laminates can also be used as top films on rolling packaging machines, both for vacuum packaging and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). They also enable applications that require pasteurization..

Features

  • Very good heat sealability (so called hot tack),
  • Inextensibility and stability of leading,
  • Great tenacity,
  • Great barrier properties against gas and water vapour permeability,
  • Great clarity and gloss,
  • Protection against UV radiation,
  • Possibility of interlayer print in 8 colours,
